Legal Constract Analyst - Commercial Law
Colombia: Medellín
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM,
The Legal Contract Analyst should be thorough and comfortable conveying concerns clearly to management and involved stakeholders. Experience with applications like Smartsheet, Microsoft Office 365, and Acrobat Reader is preferred. Responsibilities
· Review and analyze signed agreements (e.g., securities purchase, employment, restrictive covenants, leases) identifying bilateral and multilateral obligations (dates, costs, type)
· Maintain status sheets for all agreement obligations and communicate the status via email, chat, virtually, or in-person as frequently as needed
· Manage data rooms as needed for external and internal transactions
· Support and assist in inter-departmental initiatives that require documentation as requested
· Work with legal, finance, and accounting departments to standardize and expedite the communication and execution of obligations. · Partner with different members of the team to provide guidance and facilitate execution of complex post close financial disbursements
Skills
· Conversational English level B2+.
· Bachelors Degree in a related field (Law) and postgraduate studies
· 2+ years of related experience at a law firm or in-house legal department or other legal background/experience
· Experience extracting, relaying, and understanding information from contracts, including but not limited to the meaning of legal clauses and their impact
·Understanding of Finance, Accounting, or Compliance industry is a big plus
· Familiarity with Adobe Reader and MS Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio).
