Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to prepare accurate and timely project bids aligned with company pricing standards. This role is responsible for analyzing project requirements, performing takeoffs, and developing cost estimates that support competitive and profitable project execution.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
Prepare complete and accurate bid packages within deadlines
Develop labor and material cost estimates using company standards
Review and validate vendor quotes and pricing inputs
Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential risks
Coordinate responses to RFIs, addenda, and bid clarifications
Maintain organized documentation for all bids and communications
Support value engineering and cost optimization efforts
Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Requirements
36+ years of experience in construction estimating
Strong ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings
Proficiency in quantity takeoffs and cost estimation
C1+ English level
Background in Division 12, blinds, or related scopes
Plus:
Familiarity with estimating software or CRM bid-tracking tools (PlanSwift) is a plus
Degree in Construction Management or related field
