Role Summary:
The Google Ads Specialist will be responsible for planning, launching, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns for local businesses. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Google Search, Performance Max, Display, and Remarketing campaigns, along with a strong understanding of conversion tracking, landing page optimization, and lead generation strategies. This role requires fluent English communication skills, as the specialist will work closely with a US-based manager and may occasionally participate in client-facing meetings.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Planning
Develop Google Ads strategies for local businesses, primarily med spas, wellness clinics, and healthcare-related practices.
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis.
Identify target audiences, search intent, and local market opportunities.
Design campaign structures aligned with client goals, budgets, and lead generation objectives.
Develop strategies focused on increasing appointment bookings, consultations, and qualified leads.
Campaign Setup & Management
Build, launch, and manage Google Search, Performance Max, Display, and Remarketing campaigns.
Create and organize campaign structures, ad groups, keywords, audiences, and targeting settings.
Write compelling ad copy and develop ad extensions.
Configure conversion tracking and attribution reporting.
Ensure campaigns follow Google Ads best practices and platform guidelines.
Optimization & Performance Management
Monitor campaign performance daily and weekly.
Optimize bids, budgets, audience targeting, and campaign settings.
Manage and refine negative keyword lists.
Improve click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and lead quality.
Analyze search term reports and identify new keyword opportunities.
Allocate budgets effectively across campaigns and accounts.
Identify underperforming campaigns and implement optimization strategies to improve results.
Landing Page & Conversion Optimization
Review landing page performance and user experience.
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to implement improvements.
Provide recommendations regarding messaging, offers, calls-to-action, and page structure.
Analytics & Tracking
Manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations.
Ensure conversion tracking is accurate and functioning properly.
Troubleshoot attribution and tracking issues.
Monitor lead flow and campaign performance across marketing channels.
Reporting & Client Communication
Prepare and deliver monthly campaign performance reports.
Analyze data and communicate insights and recommendations clearly.
Track KPIs including cost per lead, conversion rate, ROAS, impression share, CTR, and lead quality.
Present recommendations and next-step strategies.
Participate in strategy meetings with clients and internal stakeholders when required.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
Proven experience generating leads for local businesses.
Strong experience with Google Search campaigns.
Experience managing Performance Max campaigns.
Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Ability to make strategic decisions based on campaign performance.
Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Google Ads Certification(s).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with med spas, wellness clinics, healthcare practices, aesthetic clinics, or similar industries.
Experience optimizing landing pages for lead generation.
Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking processes.
Experience managing monthly advertising budgets ranging from $1,500 to $20,000 USD.
Knowledge of HIPAA-conscious healthcare marketing practices.
Experience participating in client-facing strategy discussions.
