Business Intelligence Analyst Home Office

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value. Through data analytics, visualization, and modeling techniques and technologies, they will interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. This role involves a high level of analytical proficiency, technical expertise, and business acumen to support the company's strategic decisions.

Monthly Compensation: 1,200 USD

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

-Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on data from various sources, including CRM systems, financial software, and external databases.

-Data Visualization: Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar.

-Performance Monitoring: Track key business metrics and provide actionable insights to relevant stakeholders to support executive decision-making

-Data Integrity and Management: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple data sources. Identify and rectify data quality issues.

-Business Process Improvements: Analyze business requirements and processes to recommend improvements to the management and executives for implementation.

-Project Management: Lead and manage BI projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and follow the correct processes.

-Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with departments across the organization to gather data requirements and report findings in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

-Proficiency in utilizing programming languages such as Python and R for the purpose of data analysis.

-Proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau.

-Knowledge of SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

-Understanding of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.

-Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

-Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

-Knowledge of Power BI, Excel power tools for Data Analysis, Tableau.

-Proven experience in a Business Intelligence, Project Management, or Management role, with a focus on metrics, analytics, database management, or data science (At least 2 years).

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, and Data Analytics.

-Business Administration, or related field; or 4 years of equivalent business experience.

-Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis. (Preferred)

-Google Data Analytics Certification, Google Advanced Data Analytics Certification, or certification specific to functional area (within 90 days of hire). Preferred
