Docente Música

A private bilingual school following the Colombian Calendar B academic year, located in Chía, Cundinamarca, is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to teach across the preschool, primary, and secondary levels.

We are looking for a responsible, adaptable, and highly motivated professional with strong subject expertise and a genuine commitment to holistic education. The successful candidate will be expected to implement active, student-centred teaching methodologies that promote deep understanding, critical thinking, research skills, intellectual curiosity, and meaningful student engagement.

Knowledge of and/or experience with Teaching for Understanding (TfU), Project-Based Learning (PBL), Cambridge International programmes, Cultures of Thinking, and other active-learning approaches will be highly valued.

Working Schedule

Tuesday and Thursday: 6:50 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 6:50 a.m. ? 12:05 p.m.
Monthly staff meeting: one Tuesday per month, from 3:20 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.
Saturday sessions: three Saturdays throughout the academic year, in accordance with the institutional calendar.

English Language Requirement

Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English proficiency level of B1+.
