Business Development Representative/CSR
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a US-based company that provides specialized auto vehicles designed to improve accessibility and enhance everyday mobility for individuals with disabilities. They believe exceptional customer experiences are just as important as exceptional products. As they continue to grow, they're expanding their Business Development Center (BDC) team to better support the increasing volume of inbound marketing leads.
POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to engage with warm inbound leads generated through the company?s marketing channels.
This is not a cold-calling sales role. Instead, you'll qualify prospective customers using a structured lead-scoring process, build rapport, answer initial questions, and schedule virtual demonstrations with the company?s Mobility Consultants. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, comfort working across multiple systems simultaneously, and prior automotive BDC experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Contact warm inbound leads generated through Google, Facebook, Bing, company?s website, and other marketing channels.
Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, chat, text, and email.
Conduct outbound follow-up with prospects who have expressed interest in the client's products.
Use a structured qualification script to assess customer needs, budget, and mobility requirements.
Score and qualify leads based on established criteria.
Convert qualified prospects into sales opportunities within HubSpot.
Schedule virtual product demonstrations with Mobility Consultants.
Warm-transfer customers to sales representatives when appropriate.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout every interaction.
Maintain accurate notes and customer records across multiple systems.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a combination of inbound and outbound communications.
- Prioritize high-intent prospects.
- Work across multiple platforms including:
HubSpot
Podium
Zoom
Intercom
-Meet appointment-setting and lead qualification goals.
-Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth customer handoffs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Previous automotive Business Development Center (BDC) experience is a PLUS.
-Experience in qualifying leads and setting appointments.
-Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
-Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
-Comfortable handling a high volume of phone conversations.
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to multitask across several systems simultaneously.
-Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
-Experience using CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce is preferred.
-Every other weekend availability is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience working with automotive dealerships or automotive BDC providers is a PLUS
-Experience with HubSpot, Podium, Zoom, or Intercom (or similar platforms) is a PLUS.
-Remote work experience.
-Sales or appointment-setting experience.
