Accounting Analyst
Location: On Site 2 months, then hybrid. Colombia (Cali, Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Weekly Hours: 45
English Required: 9.0 to 10.0
Level of Study Required: Minimum bachelors degree in information management, Accounting, Finance or Economics

Job Description:
As an Accounting Analyst you will report to the Accounting Director and assist in various finance and accounting functions. You will ensure accurate accounting and investor information is reported and recorded. This demanding position is best suited for a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and multi-task effectively.
Responsibilities:
Review accounting statements for mathematical errors.
Create and send wire receipts to investors.
Update investor information in the investor portal.
Upload documents to the investor portal.
Assist in reviewing and maintaining the investor portal.
Review prospective investor status to ensure all documents are received.
Check demographic information on tax returns.
Download and organize bank statements.
Follow up on discrepancies in reports or missing data.
Assist in interest invoice preparation.
Assist in accounts payable as needed.
Assist in investor subscription process as needed.
Prepare and upload information to external auditors or tax groups.
Assist with special projects and process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum bachelors degree in information management, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Experience in fund accounting environment preferred.
Private equity and/or real estate fund experience is highly desirable but not required.
Strong reconciliation and research skills over a broad range of accounts.
Proficient in portfolio accounting systems, Excel, and other MS Office software products.
Experience with Workday or Juniper Square preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
