JOB OPENING: HOTEL DIRECTOR / ADMINISTRATOR / MANAGER Location: Medellín, Colombia (El Poblado area) Property Type: Luxury Boutique Hotel & Premium Airbnb Portfolio ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and results-driven Hotel Director / Administrator / Manager to oversee daily operations of a high-end boutique hotel and luxury short-term rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in both hospitality operations and marketing strategy to help maximize occupancy and revenue. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee day-to-day hotel and Airbnb operations Manage front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance teams Ensure exceptional guest experience and rapid issue resolution Supervise reservations, occupancy optimization, and pricing strategies Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase bookings Manage OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking, VRBO, etc.) and listing optimization Oversee social media presence and online reputation management Coordinate with ownership on revenue, reporting, and operational improvements Monitor property condition, maintenance schedules, and vendor performance Enforce house rules, security protocols, and local compliance requirements Implement SOPs to improve efficiency and profitability MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 3+ years proven experience in hotel, boutique hotel, or Airbnb management Demonstrated marketing knowledge (OTA optimization, social media, or digital marketing) Strong knowledge of Airbnb and OTA platforms Experience managing hospitality staff Fluent Spanish required; English highly preferred Strong problem-solving and leadership skills Ability to work on-site in Medellín Professional appearance and communication PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with luxury or high-volume group rentals Revenue management or dynamic pricing experience Knowledge of Colombian hospitality regulations (RNT, etc.) Experience with guest screening and VIP clientele Background in boutique or lifestyle hotels Experience running paid ads (Meta/Google) or influencer campaigns COMPENSATION Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonuses available Full-time position Opportunity for growth with expanding hospitality portfolio
