Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process billing for FTL (Full Truckload) shipments, ensuring accuracy in load details and rates.
Review and verify freight documents such as rate confirmations, bills of lading, and PODs to ensure all charges are captured.
Coordinate closely with operations and dispatch teams to confirm shipment status and billing readiness.
Maintain and update billing records, invoices, and customer statements.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
Respond to inquiries from carriers and clients regarding invoices, payments, and supporting documentation.
Assist with processing accounts receivable transactions and posting payments to customer accounts.
Generate financial reports related to billing and outstanding accounts for internal review.
Enter financial and logistics data into the accounting and TMS systems, ensuring timely and accurate information.
Support the finance department in monitoring expenses and preparing reports as needed.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all billing transactions and communications.
Perform additional administrative or finance-related tasks as required by the company.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred)
12 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related role within logistics or transportation
English B2
Basic understanding of accounting and billing principles
Familiarity with factoring and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes and systems
