Job description:
The Cyber Security Analyst utilizes business knowledge and technical experience in cyber security to provide a secure environment for Vensure and Division Partners. Youll be responsible for monitoring our environment for security threats and remediating those threats. Youll spend your time as part of an entrepreneurial team looking to help keep Vensure and Division Partners safe from cyber security threats.
Responsabilities: The role of a Cyber Security Analyst can be extremely broad and vary on a day-to-day basis and include:
Monitor and remediate threats
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated incidents
Collaborate with teams to configure and integrate cyber security systems and services Ensuring that the organizations data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
Perform internal and external vulnerability assessments
Management of Endpoint Protection and Email Protection services
Analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users Perform security assessments and enhance the posture of core corporate infrastructure and services
Desire to automate existing processes using modern scripting language or automation tools.
Ensure compliance with regulation and privacy laws
Other duties as required
Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: Experience with basic networking and security principles
Experience and understanding of cyber security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, IAM, Firewall
Above average organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and initiatives
Experience with cloud solutions (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed
High attention to detail
Able to maintain confidentiality
