ELECTRICAL CAD DESIGNER
Location: Remote (Bogotá, Colombia)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 16:00 (COT)
Description
We are seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to support the design and development of renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to produce accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD
Develop layouts and diagrams for solar, wind, BESS, substations, and collection systems
Produce single-line diagrams, site plans, grounding layouts, and cable routing drawings
Prepare design packages and construction drawings in line with standards and specifications
Update designs based on engineering and client feedback
Participate in project coordination with engineering teams
Support junior technicians as needed
Requirements
2+ years of experience in electrical design using AutoCAD Electrical
C1+ English level
Exposure to energy systems (solar, BESS, substations) is a plus
