MEP CAD Drafter
Location: Remote (Colombia) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 16:00 (COT)
Description
We are looking for a skilled MEP CAD Drafter to support the development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) designs for construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD
Develop layouts and construction drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Produce plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for coordination and construction
Manage and organize drawings using external references (XREFs)
Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and specifications
Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback and client comments
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency
Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings
Requirements
2+ years of experience as a CAD Drafter in MEP projects (Electrical is required)
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical is a plus)
Strong experience working with XREFs
Solid understanding of MEP systems and construction drawings
Advanced English level (C1 or higher)
Proactive attitude.
