Position Title: Graphic Designer and social media & Marketing Specialist
City: Medellín, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Calí.
Location: [REMOTO]
Shift days, hours and time zone: 9-6pm Monday to Friday
Level of study required: Graphic Designer, Marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts or any related field

Job description: The Graphic Designer will apply art, design and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. The Marketing and Social Media Specialist plays a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies that leverage social media platforms to increase our web traffic and brand awareness, promote our products and services, engage with our target audience, and enhance brand visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, content creation and social media management.

Responsabilities:
1. Social Media Strategy:
Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
Identify target audiences and create content tailored to their interests and preferences.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to ensure a competitive advantage.
2. Content Creation:
Design, manage, create, and publish original high-quality content.
Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content.
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the companys social content.
3. Social Media Management:
Manage and maintain social media profiles, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms using social media management tools.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up to date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of social media campaigns.
Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
Make data-driven recommendations for improving social media engagement and reach.
5. Campaign Planning and Execution:
Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including flyers, budget allocation, and targeting.
A/B test ad creatives, headlines, and audience segments to optimize campaign performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and platform policies.
Monitor and manage potential risks related to online reputation and crises.
Plan and implement new designs.
Optimize existing user interface designs.
Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics.
Basic website(s) maintenance as needed.
Create and design all new marketing, branding materials.
Create and design new advertising campaigns.
Help create marketing campaigns when we enter new markets.
Create newsfeed on websites.
Linked-In pages for KES, Airadigm
Other marketing, graphic artists, advertising items as assigned.
Create and update all branding guidelines, all stationery and signatures being used by the company.
Help create new avenues for company growth and new business sectors. (Sales done by others)

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:
Proven experience with a minimum of 10-years experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them.
Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and email marketing is a plus.
Excellent multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Proven graphic designing with 10-years experience.
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
Familiarity with design software and technologies.
A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
