We're looking for a Legal Counsel with approximately one year of professional experience who is eager to build a career in corporate law within a fast-growing fintech.
This position is designed for lawyers at the beginning of their professional journey who are excited to learn, take ownership, and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of law. You won't be expected to be an expert on day one?we're looking for someone with a strong legal foundation, curiosity, and a genuine desire to grow.
What You'll Do:
As part of our Legal team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, including:
-Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors and business partners.
-Supporting customer legal matters, including PQRs, legal petitions, and tutela actions.
-Assisting with responses to regulatory authorities, including the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
-Providing legal support on commercial, contractual, civil, and labor law matters.
-Partnering with our HR team on employment-related legal topics.
-Supporting compliance initiatives and helping identify legal risks.
-Preparing legal opinions and supporting internal decision-making.
-Maintaining legal documentation, templates, and contract records.
Who We're Looking For
This role is a great fit if you:
-Have approximately one year of professional legal experience.
-Hold a Law degree and an active Colombian Bar License.
-Have foundational knowledge of commercial, contractual, civil, and labor law.
-Have some experience drafting or reviewing legal documents or contracts.
-Are analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
-Enjoy learning and taking on new challenges.
-Are excited to build an in-house legal career in a dynamic business environment.
-Have English proficiency at a B2?C1 level.
