We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a full-time Legal Operator specializing in making calls and gathering information for our cases. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our legal operations by conducting phone interviews, collecting relevant case information, and assisting in the preparation of legal documentation. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct phone interviews with clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and details pertinent to legal cases.
2. Document and summarize the information obtained from phone calls, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in recording details and statements.
3. Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials based on the information gathered through phone interviews.
4. Coordinate with clients and external parties to obtain necessary documents, records, and evidence to support legal cases.
5. Maintain organized and detailed records of all phone conversations and information gathered, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.
6. Communicate effectively with attorneys and other team members to provide updates on case-related information and to facilitate the smooth progression of legal matters.
Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential, with strong communication skills for conducting phone interviews and documenting information accurately.
2. Previous experience in a legal environment or similar role is preferred, with a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and Proficiency in document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications with the ability to manage and document information effectively.
4. Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also collaborating with legal team members to support case preparation and execution.
5. Familiarity with legal document management, case file organization, and administrative support tasks within a legal setting.
6. A degree or certification in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
