Job Title: Paralegal
Shift: Monday - Friday / 7:30 am - 4:00 pm CT
Location: Remote (Only in Barranquilla, Armenia, Medellin, Bogotá, Cali, Bucaramanga)
Requirements:
+5 years of US-based experience in a Paralegal or similar legal support role (mandatory)
Fluency in English, and Portuguese (written and verbal) mandatory
Job description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal team with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and document preparation skills, excellent communication abilities, and fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Responsabilities: Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence Conduct legal research and summarize findings for internal use Draft and proofread legal documents in Spanish, English, and Portuguese Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and organize legal documentation Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties in multiple jurisdictions Track deadlines, court dates, and compliance requirements Support cross-border matters involving Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients Handle general administrative tasks related to legal operations.
Skills and Qualifications
+5 years of US-based experience in a Paralegal or similar legal support role (mandatory)
Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a comparable legal support position
Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (written and verbal) mandatory
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and US legal procedures
Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
