Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to healthcare members, patients, and providers while delivering a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, attention to detail, and the ability to handle healthcare-related inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions in English and Spanish.
Assist patients, members, and healthcare providers with inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, appointments, referrals, claims, and healthcare services.
Accurately document customer interactions and update records within internal systems.
Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
Follow established healthcare regulations, policies, and confidentiality requirements.
Escalate complex cases when necessary and ensure timely follow-up.
Meet quality assurance, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient issue resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare products, services, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Advanced English proficiency (B2+ to C1 level or higher).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience (healthcare experience preferred).
Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare customer service, medical scheduling, insurance, or healthcare support.
Experience working in a call center or BPO environment.
Knowledge of healthcare terminology and processes.
