About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Renewal Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete customer renewal lifecycle, driving customer retention, protecting recurring revenue, and supporting collections activities. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless renewal experience while identifying opportunities for account growth and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full customer renewal lifecycle, including renewal notifications, quote preparation, contract renewals, follow-ups, and response tracking.
Proactively engage customers regarding upcoming renewals, overdue invoices, outstanding balances, and billing-related inquiries.
Negotiate renewal terms, payment plans, and contract extensions in alignment with company policies.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximize retention and minimize churn.
Identify at-risk accounts and renewal opportunities, escalating complex situations when necessary.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities during the renewal process.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding subscriptions, contracts, renewals, and billing matters in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate customer data, renewal activities, collections records, and account information within Salesforce CRM.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and other internal teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Prepare renewal forecasts, collections reports, account status updates, and pipeline reports.
Consistently meet or exceed renewal, retention, collections, and revenue goals.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in renewals, customer retention, account management, collections, business development, or inside sales within a B2B software or technology environment.
Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, reporting, and workflow administration.
Strong understanding of subscription-based business models, customer renewals, direct sales, and channel sales environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to handle complex customer conversations while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Preferred
Experience in network monitoring, cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT infrastructure solutions.
Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to revenue retention, renewals, and collections performance.
