Prestigious Chinese Company in the Telecommunications sector is looking for a Bilingual Service Support Engineer (high conversational level, you will have to speak with foreign bosses all the time), in Bogota.
Salary: $4.000.000 - $5.000.000 depending on profile. Indefinite contract

Job Description:
Provides on-site support for the commissioning, maintenance and operation of fixed network products using GPON technology.
Provide remote support, onsite support and guidance for FiberHome fixed network products to our customers.
Continuous learning, practice, and summary to improve personal skills and knowledge.
Collect the issues reported by the customers regarding and forward them to our R&D team.
Position offered for the city of Bogotá.
Willing to travel.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in electric engineering, communication engineering, computer science and technology, and related.
Work experience in telecom operators (like Claro, Movistar, Millicom, Emcali, ETB, etc.), or work experience in communication equipment suppliers (like HW, ZTE, Nokia, Cisco), providing broadband or telecommunications technical support.
Good team communication and coordination skills, and good service awareness.
Good English ability to communicate and report the issues. (B1 or B2)
Have a particular understanding of TCP/IP Network systems.
Have particular experience configuring networking devices such as routers or switches.
Having technical experience with GPON Products (OLT and ONTs) is desirable and it will be a plus.
