About the Role:
The position of Junior Product Owner calls for an inquisitive and solution-oriented individual who possesses a grasp of agile methodologies and the capability to convert business needs into agile artifacts. The Jr PP will collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, refine the backlog, and actively participates in Scrum ceremonies to drive continuous improvement. This role plays a crucial part in aligning stakeholder requirements with team capacities, aiming for streamlined and productive product development cycles.

What Salvatech is looking for:
A Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent background in a product-oriented role. Possession of a Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is highly desirable and can be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Over 2 years of hands-on experience in product development, preferably in an Agile setting. Previous engagement in a Scrum Master position is advantageous.
Demonstrated proficiency in a data-driven approach to problem identification and resolution.
Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
Robust analytical and problems-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Adept at collaborating effectively with a diverse range of team members and stakeholders.
Eagerness to continually learn and embrace new challenges.
Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle, spanning from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Capability to operate effectively in an independent and autonomous work environment.

Responsibilities:
Act as a communication liaison connecting stakeholders with the development team, guaranteeing a shared understanding of requirements and the progress of the product.
Examine, enhance, and articulate requirements into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to provide precise guidance to the engineering team.
Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and feasibility within the technical environment; validate solutions against initial requirements.
Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or impediments hindering the teams progress within a sprint, collaborating with the team and external parties to find resolutions.
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring active participation from team members and maintaining focus on the agenda.
Contribute to the prioritization of product backlog items based on business value and ROI.
Assist the team in upholding Scrum values and adopting best practices, guided by an Agile Coach.
Monitor team velocity and health, promoting a sustainable pace with a focus on maintaining high levels of quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Agile methodologies and business analysis. Participating in workshops, webinars, conferences, or pursuing advanced certifications can be integral to this ongoing learning initiative.
Consistently evaluate and propose enhancements to existing business analysis techniques and processes within the organization, advocating for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Proactively solicit feedback from team members and stakeholders to comprehend how the Scrum framework can be fine-tuned for enhanced efficiency in upcoming sprints.
