Join our team in PriceSmart Colombia as People Organization Coordinator
The People Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of people-related programs, processes, and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and contribute to organizational success. This role serves as a key partner to employees, managers, and People Business Partners, ensuring efficient delivery of HR operations, talent programs, employee engagement activities, and organizational initiatives.
The People Coordinator helps drive a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture by coordinating people processes, maintaining employee records, supporting workforce planning activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility processes.
Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
Assist in planning and executing employee events, training sessions, and team-building programs.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on People policies and processes.
Maintain accurate employee data and records across HR systems.
Coordinate personnel documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Support payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes as needed.
Support performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning activities.
Coordinate learning and development programs and track employee participation.
Partner with managers and HR teams to facilitate talent initiatives and career development processes.
Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar positions, preferably in a retail environment.
Positive customer service attitude.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Workday.
Proficiency in English and/or Spanish (written and verbal).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate leadership.
