Position Overview: Verizon is looking for a skilled Bilingual Translator to join our team on-site in Bogotá, Colombia. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, with a strong ability to translate and interpret written and spoken content across a variety of business and technical documents. This role requires an excellent understanding of both languages, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate a wide range of documents, including emails, reports, technical manuals, and marketing materials from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
Ensure translations maintain the meaning, tone, and context of the original content.
Collaborate with team members to ensure translations are consistent and align with company standards.
Assist in the development of training materials and resources in both languages.
Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience in translation and interpretation
Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar skills in both languages.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Bachelors degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
