About the Role:
Transport Dispatchers are essential for maintaining the flow of logistics and ensuring customer satisfaction. Their ability to coordinate effectively, solve problems quickly, and communicate efficiently makes them a key component of successful transportation operations.

Responsabilities:
Submitting a Daily Report for set accounts
Receives check in calls/ messages from drivers workers regarding Estimated Time of Arrivals, tardiness, or issues.
Contacts drivers to verify chassis and equipment to ensure scheduled work performance.
Creates work orders to be handed to the drivers.
Informs workers of type and location of work to be performed and dispatches workers to job.

Requirements:
Prior experience in drayage operations is essential, with a solid understanding of port and terminal procedures, as well as regulatory compliance in freight handling.
Dispatchers need to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and service providers.
Strong organizational skills
Problem-solving ability
Understanding the area they are dispatching services in can be crucial for efficient routing and coordination.
Familiarity with dispatch software and the ability to navigate computer systems quickly and accurately is essential.
