The role:
Manager of Financial Operations

Summary of the role:
The role involves aiming and ensuring the smooth functioning of financial operations within the organization. Driving financial excellence, fostering operational efficiency and promoting collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Delivering monthly financial results in compliance with group reporting standards.
Leading and supervising a team of accountants responsible for various day-to-day activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, including reconciliations.
Optimizing processes related to financial transactions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Standardizing accounting processes across multiple entities to maintain high standards and consistency.
Cultivating a service-oriented culture among both internal and external stakeholders.
Spearheading the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the region, ensuring a seamless transition and integration of financial processes.

Qualifications:
University degree Accounting
Post graduated degree desirable Finances, Economics
10+ years experience in accounting
5+ years experience in team management
3+ years experience in Shared Services Operations

Technical Competences:
Fluent in English both written & spoken, other languages a plus. Level C1
Knowledge of SAP FICO System
Experience in Big Four desirable
Knowledge in soft-agri commodities preferred (coffee industry is a plus).
Microsoft Office suite, advanced excel skills needed
