Are you a skilled accountant looking for an exciting opportunity? Were hiring a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Colombia! As a Senior Accountant, youll play a crucial role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
Monthly Financial Analysis: Maintain and review general ledger activity, focusing on revenue and payroll for our commercial division.
Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for day-to-day inquiries and reporting related to revenue and payroll.
Intercompany Reconciliation: Handle intercompany transactions between parent and subsidiaries.
Documentation: Prepare necessary supporting documents.
GAAP Compliance: Ensure accounting transactions adhere to US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Problem-Solving: Research and resolve accounting issues.
Special Projects: Assist with monthly Port Fees, annual audits, and other projects.
Team Support: Collaborate with the Commercial accounting team during month-end processes and fuel farm accounting.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in accounting (required). CPA designation is a plus.
Experience: 4-6 years of documented progressive accounting experience, including revenue and payroll.
Language Skills: Proficient in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
