Axiom is a multinational company with headquarters in the United States and operations in Bogotá, Colombia, and Europe. We are expanding our HR team by hiring a HR Coordinator in Bogotá to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations for our Colombian team.
Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support our growing team in Colombia. This role will serve as the first point of contact for HR-related matters for employees in Bogotá, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and coordinate employment contracts and compliance. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the U.S. HR team and our legal/accounting firm in Colombia for payroll and labor law compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Screen job candidates for English proficiency and qualifications.
Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring processes with the U.S. HR team.
Prepare job offers and employment contracts in compliance with Colombian labor laws.
Assist with new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
HR Administration & Employee Support
Serve as the first point of contact for Bogotá employees regarding HR inquiries.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation.
Monitor and track time off, benefits, and attendance for compliance.
Ensure all employee documentation is up to date.
Compliance & Coordination
Work with our legal and accounting partners to ensure compliance with Colombian labor regulations.
Assist with audits and legal documentation when necessary.
Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Support HR projects and initiatives for the Colombia team.
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
2+ years of HR experience in Colombia (HR coordination, recruiting, or employee relations).
Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws or a willingness to learn.
Experience handling employment contracts and compliance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the global HR team.
Experience with HR software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
HR experience in an international or multinational company.
Knowledge of payroll processes and coordination with external providers.
Experience using Paycom or similar HRIS
